Lifelong Learning at Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (BUF):

Multigenerational Programs

BUF Community Retreat

All members and friends of our congregation are invited to attend our annual retreat at Camp Kirby. This year the retreat will be held from Friday, October 5 through Sunday, October 7. Programming at the retreat will address transitions and visioning.

BUF Community Programs (For People of All Ages)

The Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship values all the people in our community and is committed to providing opportunities for members and friends of all ages to come together for various activities, projects and events. “BUF Community” programs are intended to be multigenerational and everyone is encouraged to participate! To make sure that you know what’s happening, contact our administrator to get on the email list to receive our Midweek Updates!

BUF Community Worship

Worship is an obvious means to the end of faith development. This year we have planned for a handful of “BUF Community Worship” services that are designed to be relevant and accessible to people of all ages. BUF Community Worship services are announced in the Midweek Update that comes out via email every Thursday.

BUF Community Nights

“BUF Community Nights” are a great opportunity to break bread and build community with friends, both old and new!  We serve dinner at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights (with few exceptions around the holidays) and offer stimulating program opportunities sometimes before and after (including choir rehearsal from 7:00 to 8:30). Dinners are simple, family friendly, home cooked meals that accommodate vegetarian, gluten, and dairy free restrictions. Meals cost $5.00 for adults, $4.00 for children 5 yrs and older, or $12.00 per family (up to 2 adults with children under 14). No RSVP required (but you may want to be on time to ensure that there is plenty of food when you go through the line)!

BUF Community Service Projects

The Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship is committed to helping members and friends put their Principles into Action and we believe this is important for people of all ages! Several opportunities will be announced throughout the church year for adults and children to join forces to create good in our community and world. Watch the Midweek Update for these opportunities!

Many hands are needed to offer our inspiring programs; if you would like to volunteer in Lifelong Learning, contact Crystal Neva.

All Lifelong Learning Programs at BUF promote leadership development, respectful communication, global and social awareness, creativity and fun!
